Product Safety

Last updated: 16 July 2026

This page provides general safety information for products sold by The False Archive. It does not replace the product-specific materials, intended use, warnings, age restrictions, traceability details, care instructions, manufacturer information, or other safety information displayed on each product page or supplied with the product.

1. Economic operator

For products marketed under The False Archive brand in the European Union, the business contact is:

Marek Hovorka, trading as The False Archive
Stavařská 735, 686 05 Uherské Hradiště, Czech Republic
Business registration number: 17399408
Email: hovorka.marek@email.cz

Product-specific information may also identify Printful, a blank-product manufacturer, production facility, importer, responsible person, or another economic operator where required.

2. Product-specific information is controlling

Before purchase and use, review the exact product listing and any label or instruction supplied with the item. Product-specific information may include:

If product-specific information conflicts with this general page, follow the product-specific information.

3. General safe use

4. Apparel and textile products

Follow the exact garment label and product-page instructions. Unless the product information expressly states otherwise:

Prints, embroidery, and fabrics naturally age through wearing and washing. Failure to follow care instructions may damage the item and is not a manufacturing defect.

5. Drinkware and household products

Dishwasher, microwave, oven, freezer, hot-liquid, food-contact, and leak-resistance suitability varies by product. Never infer suitability from appearance. Follow the exact listing and label. A lid described as spill-resistant is not necessarily leak-proof. Stop using drinkware that is cracked, chipped, deformed, or otherwise unsafe.

6. Posters, prints, stickers, and decorative products

Printed decorative products are not fire-rated safety signs, official notices, electrical labels, emergency instructions, or technical certificates. Adhesives may affect painted, porous, delicate, historic, coated, or heat-sensitive surfaces. Test on an inconspicuous area where appropriate.

7. Product-safety reports

Immediately report a serious incident, injury, fire, chemical reaction, choking event, or credible product-safety concern to hovorka.marek@email.cz. Include the order number, product name, photographs, labels, traceability information, and a description of what happened.

Stop using the product and preserve it, its packaging, and all labels unless immediate disposal is reasonably necessary to prevent harm.

8. Corrective action and recalls

Where necessary, we may suspend a product, contact affected customers, issue updated instructions, request return or disposal, provide a repair, replacement, or refund, or cooperate with Printful, a manufacturer, carrier, insurer, marketplace, or competent authority. Order contact data may be used for safety warnings and recalls where necessary.

9. Statutory rights

Nothing on this page excludes or limits mandatory rights concerning conformity, product safety, defective-product liability, compensation, withdrawal, or consumer protection.
